Hi! I’m Laura Jean!

Holistic Home Coach & Personal Organizer

After 15 years designing organizational tools for fiber artists and crafters, I realized what I loved most was creating something that worked for a wide range of people, helping them stay organized while honoring their individuality and creative process. That passion evolved from products to spaces, and now I help clients transform their homes with intention, clarity, and care.

As a Holistic Home Coach, I don’t just organize. I help you understand how your space reflects your habits, your energy, and the season of life you’re in. Together, we shape environments that support your goals, reduce stress, and help you reconnect with your surroundings.

Whether you’re a creative with a chaotic studio, a family in need of kitchen flow, or just overwhelmed by stuff, I’m here to guide you, not just organize, but transform your home into a space that supports your well-being, creativity, and peace of mind.

I offer both virtual consultations and in-person sessions, and I work with a wide range of spaces, from craft rooms and kitchens to closets and garages always with heart, intention, and a commitment to sustainable change.

My mission has always been to empower you to live and work in environments that support your well-being, reflects your values, and makes daily life just a little easier.

Let’s create a home that feels as good as it looks.

FAQs

How does pricing work?

I offer both hourly rates and project-based pricing, depending on the scope and complexity of the job. For straightforward tasks, I provide a verbal quote and estimated timeline. For larger or multi-phase projects, I prepare a written quote with a detailed invoice outlining the expected work.

Package discounts are available when scheduling multiple sessions in advance.
Senior and veteran discounts are also offered.

When a formal quote is provided:

  • 50% deposit is due upfront

  • The remaining balance, plus any additional charges, is due at completion

  • For projects lasting over one month, payment plans can be arranged

If unexpected challenges arise, I’ll discuss them with you promptly to ensure clarity and alignment.

My goal is to deliver high-quality, sustainable results through collaboration, clear communication, and thoughtful planning—whether you're preparing for a move, refreshing a family home, or organizing a creative space.

What are your payment methods?

I accept cash, check, credit card, venmo and occasional service trades!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We’ll start with a brief conversation via phone or email to discuss your needs and schedule a time for an in-person or virtual consultation.

During the initial visit, I’ll walk through the space, take notes and photos (with permission), and gather details about your goals, priorities, and preferences. This is a great time to ask questions and clarify expectations.

If you're ready, I can begin working during that first session, so you can start seeing progress right away.

Organizing sessions are typically 4 to 6 hours long, depending on your needs and availability. Larger projects may require multiple sessions, which we can schedule in advance.

Do I need to be there the whole time?

I can work alongside you, and get things done much faster, as well as coach and help you with tips so you can keep your space organized long term, or independently, depending on your needs. If you are just looking for a space refresh and it’s not something you want to deal with, I can work alone and ask questions periodically.

I arrive with the tools and light cleaning supplies needed to sort, organize, and refine your space—finishing each session with thoughtful, personalized touches using your favorite items.

Whether it’s a small refresh or a full transformation, I take pride in making the process empowering, efficient, and tailored to your lifestyle.

How do virtual organizing sessions work?

Virtual sessions are a great option for clients outside my local area or for those who prefer guidance from the comfort of their own home.

We’ll start with a phone or video call to discuss your goals, walk through your space, and identify problem areas. I may ask you to send photos or a short video in advance so I can assess the layout and better understand your needs.

During the session, I’ll coach you through:

  • Decluttering and sorting items

  • Creating efficient zones for tools and supplies

  • Reorganizing based on your workflow and space limitations

  • Choosing functional, affordable storage solutions

After the session, I’ll provide a custom action plan and product suggestions if needed. You can also schedule follow-up sessions for continued support or maintenance.

Virtual organizing is ideal for craft rooms, creative spaces, kitchens, and more—and it's just as impactful as in-person help when paired with your effort and consistency.

What style of organization should you expect?

My approach to organization is completely customized to you—your space, your lifestyle, and your goals. I believe that organization should be both functional and sustainable, not just something that looks pretty in a photo.

While color-coordinated bins and picture-perfect shelves might work for some, they don’t always align with real-life needs. That’s why I take the time to understand your habits, priorities, and how you use each space before creating a plan.

As a Holistic Home Coach and professional organizer, I combine principles of practical organization, interior design, and wellness-focused living to deliver results that are both effective and beautiful. Whether you're organizing a craft room, kitchen, closet, home office, or any other area, we’ll work together to build a system that:

  • Is easy to maintain

  • Supports your day-to-day routines

  • Enhances peace, clarity, and flow in your home

Expect a balance of personalized systems, smart storage solutions, and thoughtful design touches—all tailored to support your long-term success..

How do you create organizing systems for families and people with ADHD?

I specialize in creating simple, sustainable systems that reduce stress and make everyday life easier—especially for families and individuals living with ADHD or executive functioning challenges.

My approach starts by getting to know how you (and your family) use the space, where clutter tends to build up, and what tasks feel overwhelming. From there, I design low-maintenance systems that support your natural habits instead of fighting against them.

For ADHD clients, this often includes:

  • Clear visual zones for supplies, belongings, and tasks

  • Labeled bins and open storage to reduce decision fatigue

  • Step-by-step routines and tools to maintain order with ease

  • Minimized visual clutter to reduce distractions and anxiety

For families, I create systems that work for multiple users—from kids to adults—so everyone can participate in keeping the home organized. I also help establish family-friendly routines that encourage shared responsibility and ease of use.

Whether we're tackling a craft space, shared living area, or kid’s room, I make sure the organizing process is empowering, judgment-free, and tailored to how you really live.

What type of home organizing do you offer?

I offer a full range of home organizing and holistic home coaching services designed to help you declutter, create functional systems, and support long-term well-being. Holistic Home Coaching & Habit Support

As a Holistic Home Coach, I go beyond surface-level organizing to help you:

  • Identify emotional or behavioral patterns tied to clutter

  • Develop healthy routines and habits to support lasting change

  • Reduce decision fatigue and mental overwhelm through customized systems

  • Create environments that support self-care, productivity, and peace of mind

For individuals with ADHD, neurodivergent needs, or busy family schedules, I design realistic systems that work with how your brain and life actually function—not against them. I offer encouragement, structure, and coaching along the way so the process becomes empowering, not overwhelming.

Whether you're organizing a creative studio, reworking a family kitchen, or setting up your home after a major life transition, I meet you where you are—with compassion, clarity, and a clear path forward.

What education and experience do you have that relates to your work?

I bring over 15 years of professional experience in organization, systems design, and client-focused service. In 2009, I founded Slipped Stitch Studios, a successful business that provided handcrafted organizational tools for fiber artists and crafters. Over the next decade and a half, I managed every aspect of operations—from streamlined production and team coordination to customer service and space optimization.

Before launching my professional organizing business, I spent years organizing for friends, family, and fellow creatives, naturally refining my ability to understand how different people interact with their environments. This hands-on experience taught me that true organization isn’t about perfection—it’s about building systems that are intuitive, sustainable, and tailored to the individual.

As a Holistic Home Coach, I now use that skillset to help clients improve not just their physical spaces, but their habits, routines, and overall sense of well-being. My background in creative industries, operational design, and client support allows me to approach every project with both empathy and precision.
